One morning we saw 2 turkeys cross a driveway, where we saw the exact same thing in almost the same place the day before. Saw a large black pig which I thought was a calf at first. This was coincidental, since when I left for work I *did* see a blonde calf behind the mailboxes at the front entrance and called Eddie Isabel. Also called about 3 cows which he came and got.

When my kids left monday, they called soon afterwards and described an "orange cat", not a housecat, not a fox, crossing the road towards the Gordons. I left for work soon after but of course it was long gone by then. When I came home that evening I was surprised to see a coyote in the same area, so maybe that was what they saw earlier. Hunoz...

Racoons and a possum are nightly regulars. My cats seem to ignore them and they likewise. Seems odd to me, though. Did see a black and white eagle-like bird between here and I35. Could not see anything like it at Cornel, so I just don't know what is was. It had several whitish areas and the rest was black. Turkey vulture size or a bit smaller.
