My wife saw these three beauties - about as much color as you could hope for all at the same place. Look closely in the upper left and there is a female painted bunting, too. She is probably "green" with envy because the two males are more beautiful than she is.
We rode bikes this morning for 4 miles and it seemed like every bit of it was covered with single strands of spider silk going mostly across the road every 6 inches or so. It only showed up when the light hits it just right but there was so much I joked the tires were turning into cotton balls. Nature is wierd :)
