Tiny plants

I just got a tiny flower identified so I thought I would put all the "tiny" flowers I found so far in this post.

This small white soft flower is Spring Pygmy cudweed

This is very similar and has has yellow flowers. All of the ones I've seen have been very close to the edge of a road. It's a succulent as the leaves are round and juicy.

This was found on the 487 roadside. It's quite similar to a thistle bloom.

While not a flower, this seed pod is quite beautiful. I first saw it low in some tall grass and thought something had eaten a bird and all that was left were tiny feathers. I've since seen a lot of it in the unmowed edge of the road Palomino. There I found some with the seeds intact - lead shot-sized black balls.

Speaking of feathers, I took three pictures of Cardinals lately, this one was on a tree in the creek running under 305. I liked it the best as it almost looks like bamboo. Hear it's song at the same link.
Well I lost my way on the whole "tiny flower" path, here's hard rusty steel - a complete opposite.  I guess I'm lost in the ranch again ...
