Used up the last of my mixed birdseed - it's just not as good as back oil sunflower seeds. I put out the sunflower seeds and a lot of birds came back. Sparrows, finches, and today a got a real nice woodpecker!
It appears to be a rather common red-bellied woodpecker. It seems to be an adult female since the red does not extend all the way to the beak.
