Lots of small sightings this month. A diamondback rattlesnake in the road, that was carried off a few days later. A red-tailed hawk carring a snake about 6 feet over the road. An owl on the fence at the front of my lot one morning. We saw more turkeys a few weeks ago -  four in the front yard.

Today we saw a turkey and a small chick (Is that the right word?). We got fairy close, maybe 20 yards, I guess because the mother would not fly off and leave the chick.

My son and grandson also found a nice mushroom
