Overwhelmed, flowers everywhere, can't find time to pursue all the pictures I want to take.

There's some Paintbrush in the ranch but this one was next to the truckstop near 35. I finally found only 3 specimens on my lot.

The yellow flower is gorgeous and on that same roadside as well. I was surprised to find out it is a Texas Dandelion (Apr 25 - these are predominant and everywhere now). Though this is not the common Dandelion, you would not believe all the good stuff and chemicals in this plant. I want to try some Dandelion Coffee!

This is my backyard. The tall grass heads are only in a few places. The blue flower is the same one as in the second picture. This was the first one we've ever seen on Saturday, but Sunday we noticed at least 3 more on the driveway. All the petals were closed up as it was cloudy.

This purple mass is an unknown flower. Not many around, then we saw this mass on our morning walk. The pinkish flower is right by our driveway.

GreenBriar. Not my favorite, but actually beautful when the leaves are new and nice and green.

The hogbone was right in a lot entrance. Perhaps
the owner left it for me to find?

We saw this at the Wildflower Center this weekend, I thought it was called Purple Ragwort. There was also a Giant variety. This one may be the giant kind. It could be wild, but since it is on the drainfield where I sprinked some seeds last year, who knows. The only thing I've ever planted from seed that really grew was Larkspur - we had about 5 or 6 plants last year and dozens this year. I noticed at the Natural Gardener's last week there were volunteer Larspur plants everywhere...
This red stalk was one of many on the edge of a farmers field just outside the ranch. I saw it on the web but can't remember where now. There are some in the field on the right as you leave the main gate, too.
