I almost forgot about the numerous yellow daisy-like flowers near the front gate and on the first lot. I also thought there were Turk's Cap flowers, too, but those red flowers turned out to be a berry or fruit and sometimes it is a rose-like flower, all still unidentified. Most of the yellow flower petals are starting to drop off. I think there is both a 2' tall variety and one about 3' tall that is more erect and less bushy, I saw them just outside the ranch near a stone quarry. There were also a lot of small brown birds near a fence that were unusual as most birds are very scarce right now, except for crows, and I did see one flock of robins (I think they were robins)

Here what I saw was more like a red fruit or berry ...
... but this was  definitely a flower, almost rose-like.
The blue flower is blue salvia often called mealy blue sage (Doug)
